La Grange Park, IL – Military veteran and business leader Matt Burden officially kicked off his campaign for State Representative of the 41st District this morning by meeting with commuters at the Lombard train station.
“From day one I want everyone in the District to know that I’m here to serve them and it starts by listening to their concerns, issues, and opinions. That’s why I’m officially launching my campaign here at the Lombard train station,” said Burden. “I will continue to walk door-to-door, frequent the train stations and coffee shops, and meet with business and community leaders, school administrators, and service organizations like the VFW and American Legion until the polls close at 7 p.m. on February 2nd in order to ensure I best represent the critical needs of our district in Springfield.”
Burden, who travelled to Springfield on October 26th and was the first candidate to file for the State Representative office being vacated by retiring Representative Bob Biggins, believes we must create and retain jobs, lower taxes, implement fiscal discipline, and restore honor and integrity to public service...
